Meet Jazmin Newton
Jazmin is a lifelong Quad Citizen and has been an active member of the Quad Cities community. She currently resides in Davenport Iowa with her husband Bryan and three children, Eric, Ethan and Mila.
Jazmin is an attorney, small business owner, community leader and social advocate. Currently she is the President of the League of Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Council #10, Deputy State Director of the Iowa LULAC, Commissioner for the Davenport Affirmative Action Commission, Commissioner on the Bi-State Regional Commission, and a Board Member on the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
She is also an involved member of several organizations and committees including the Davenport Citizens Advisory Panel, the American Association of University Women, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, ACLU of Iowa and Yes She Can Series. Jazmin also enjoys being a mentor through the LeadHer program.
